Sub-Zero TreatmentAll Nikken Toolholders, including Ultra-Lock™ Milling Chucks, are subjected to an ultra low temperature treatment of -90ºC after carburizing. This treatment removes residual austenite to prevent deformation.

Chucking Torque and DurabilityUltra-Lock™ Milling Chucks incorporate the multi-roller system that includes 140% more needle rollers than imitation milling chucks. In addition, the bearing cage is made of a special steel (rather than phosphorus bronze) that resists breakage.
